My wedding date is September 1st and I'm planning on getting my marriage licence through the mail from brevard (it's brevard right?) county.

when should I start the process? I'm so worried I'm gonna do it wrong and screw everything up! haha.

thanks guys! :thumbsup2

While I can't answer your question, just thought I'd share that when I first scanned the title of your post, I thought it said, "When should I send off for my MIL?" and I was like, "What has her mother-in-law done that she's been sent away?" :rotfl:

Oh, the one thing I can tell you is that ML (not MIL, lol) are only valid for sixty days from the day it's issued, so you don't want to start the process *too* early.

We are getting ours through the mail as well. When I contacted the courthouse the clerk told me that I should start the process Oct.1st for our Dec. 29th wedding date. I would start it in July, just to allow time for any delays or mishaps.

I was thinking the same thing!! :rotfl:

I would like to hear responses to your question though....I too plan on ordering mine ahead of time.

Thank you for posting this. Ack! It sounds like I should probably get started on the process...
