When should I rent for 9/4/04?

I am planning on staying at a BWV 9/4/04-9/11/04 and will need 270 points. When should I look at renting? We are getting a group together, so it is taking a little longer to make sure everyone is going for sure. I just want to know when to tell everyone the deadline is so that I don't worry about having a hard time finding points. Thanks so much for your help!

You may begin renting anytime for the dates you mentioned.
DVC reservations may be made 11 months from the checkout date.
