When should I go???

I have almost enough airmiles to book four airline tickets for my family from Calgary to LAX!! Looks like a DL trip is a real possibiltiy for 2011!!

I am considering two different dates. The week of August 15th (my 40th birthday!!) or Oct 28 thru Nov 2.

I love the idea of celebrating my 40th at DL but halloween time looks like so much fun too! Any advice? Which time would be less crowded?

It will be (probably) a bit more crowded in August, but that is when I would go. I don't like the idea of planning my trip and then having poor weather. But...

since I see that you are from Calgary, weather is probably not an issue for you!!

If Disney runs the 'pay extra' party option for some evenings in October, you would have at least one visit that wasn't overly packed!!

Thanks Cathy! Yes, I am leaning to August. It means that my daughter won't have to miss any school. We could always do halloween in 2012. I am a bit afraid of crowds as our previous trips have been in February but I think I have learned enough here on the Dis Boards to deal with it!

The week of the 15th is the last full week of the summer block for S CA APs ~ that should be a great time to go.
