When should I call for DME?

I've read just about every DME thread out here, but I want to make sure....

Should I wait until 40 days out to call for DME? Should I call now and confirm later?

I am calling 40 days out myself, as it takes 2 weeks for them to be printed up!

We have nine people in our group, all on different flights but staying in one OKW Grand Villa. I submitted flight info for the first three of us to book our flight via the ME online reservation form a couple of weeks ago (about
2 1/2 months before trip) When I called to check on it and add other info, I was told they could not "see" anything previously submitted til about 40 days before the trip. So I'll just call to add the other guests' flight info in a couple of weeks. Perhaps this is a case where earlier is not better!

Ok, Oct. is my first time using DME and I really don't have a clue, lol, but I just gave my flight info when I booked my room ressie. No one ever said I had to wait to give my flight info, and since I already had it...

When I called to book my Dec. trip yesterday the CM said that Disney monitors your flight info and even if the flights change it's not a problem, though I did make sure I called them as soon as our Oct. flight changed and I double checked it on the Disney website under My Vacations and they had the corrected info. I'll def. be calling and confirming as my dates get closer just to be sure...HTH
