My family and i are looking into going to WDW in July for the first time. When should i book? We are looking at staying at the All-star Movie resort.

P.S. How could i get one of these 40% off codes others are talking about??

I would go ahead and book right now ... your window for ADRs has already started, so if you want a specific restaurant on a specific date, you're already at a disadvantage.

If you're booking room-only, you can always cancel should your plans or dates change.

I've never stayed onsite, so I can't help you with that (although Pop century always looked more fun to me than the all-stars ;) ) As for the discount, there's no rule of thumb on how Disney sends them out ... you have to already be in their system, either by staying onsite before or from having ordered their DVD. I've never received one. There are other discounts out there (like CAA). Check out mousesavers.com :thumbsup2

As the previous poster said, if you want to book ADRs, you better hop on it :thumbsup2

You should book ASAP to make sure you get the resort you want, as I believe the summer is always quite busy at WDW. We're booked at the ASMovies this October and are very much looking forward to it!

We found using a really Disney-experienced travel agent has cut down our stress levels dramatically, so you may want to consider that. It's free and we're enjoying working with her to ensure we are able to get the vacation we want.

As for discount codes, the only way I'm aware of to get a code is to sign up to received a Disney vacation planning DVD (you can do that on the disneyworld.com site) and signing up for Disney newsletters, etc.

Good luck and have a wonderful vacation :wizard:

WE booked our July 08 trip last November.

You need to do it immediately..July is a VERY busy time in the world. I was in the CAA office in January and the agent at the next desk was calling to make a reservation at POP for July and it was fully booked. That may not be the case right now. If you can wait until August the rates will be in 'value season' which means cheaper and not as crowded.

I stayed at ASMo last year and it was great but the 3 AllStar resorts share busses which is a pain. The theme was a ton of fun. It is 100% eye candy to kids.
