When should I book a Rental Car

Hi everyone!

I was wondering when I should book my rental car for march break. I'm scared that they are going to run out of cars since it is such a busy time and I really need to get one onsite at the orlando airport...does this happen? Can I change the reservation later if a better deal comes up?

Book a car whenever you see a price you like; if a better one comes along later, book that one and cancel the first one; if it happens again, repeat... just don't be like "somebody" I know and cancel the wrong one!

I agree. Book one now or as soon as your dates are confirmed. If you go to www.mousesavers.com you will find a series of discount codes and promos that you may be eligible for. Don't be afraid to check multiple car rental agencies as rates can vary quite a bit.

No, I can't believe it would EVER happen that every single agency would be out of every single car and that you would have nothing. It may be possible that if you book a compact vehicle, they would run out of that size vehicle and they would offer you an upgrade at no cost.

I've had some great luck using Priceline too if that is something you want to consider.

And yes, if you book a reservation you can definitely change it/cancel it if you wish with no penalities.
