When should doc. arrive?

I know this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to get the search feature to work.
I am 36 days out and no documents in the mail- when should I expect them? I realize it is the Christmas season and the mail could be slower, but when do they mail them and when should I expect them? This is our first time booking a package- always had room only before. I think I am just anxious to have them in my hand. I booked with a discount code and have read about so many errors (though I did not get the deep discount that a lot of the errors I've read about involved)

I will be there a week from Sunday (December 30-January 5). I just received my Magical Express docs and luggage tags last Friday. You should be receiving your information any time now.

And, by the way, HAVE FUN!!!

We just received ours. I paid the final balance on the 13th. We are 37 days out. Looks like we will be there at the same time. I would probably call just to confirm. Good Luck.

We received ours right after the first of this month, our trip begins on Jan 1 now, but our documents are for our package that begins on the 2nd. I think it's about 30 days or so out for most. Ours came from our TA though, (Dreams Unlimited) so if you booked directly just call Disney and ask if they have been mailed yet. If you booked through a TA though you have to go through them, Disney won't be able to give you info on a trip booked through a TA.

After reading this thread I e-mailed my TA. We are leaving Jan 17, so we are with in our 30 days. I didn't much like the tone of the e-mail I got back.
- We used a TA on a military base, so the ressie was routed through yet another military installations. So our docs were sent to that other installation prior to being sent to were we are stationed. Apparently she told me previously I would receive them "2 weeks prior to travel." Maybe she did, but didn't sound right to me.
- But "they just happened to arrive in the mail today." And I can pick them up before 6pm.

I don't think I will be using her again for anything. Didn't like her attitude.

Hear ya on this one, we seem to perceive some attitude from our TA as well thru AAA. Next time we'll definately book without her. Not very helpful, we learned more from this board than from AAA. Anyway, we got our travel docs exactly 30 days out.

Hmmm... we're going Jan 18-24 and haven't received any docs yet- booked thru Dreams Unlimited also.

We got our ME luggage tags 2 weeks ago.

I booked through Disney in January and I received our ME tags and everything in the mail about 2 weeks after I booked our March trip. We also paid for it in full, if that speeds up the process at all.

OK- I was away for a day doing family Chirstmas stuff- but my documents came today for our vacation. I had made up my mind to call if they weren't in the mailbox today, I booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company. Anyway, they are here safe and sound. Now, I can relax about that one...On to the rest of the planning!
