when points change

What happens if the season(points) change during my stay? Do you pay some in the lower and some in the higher? What about the weekly point charge? We've never had this happen before, so I'm worried about booking it.

Yes, that's exactly how it works. Whichever days fall in the lower season are charged at that rate, and the days that fall within the higher season are charged at the higher rate. There really is no weekly rate, just a sum of all of the daily rates. In other words, weekly rates provide no discounts, they are simply the points required to stay for 7 consecutive daily rates.

Also, they show up as two different reservations that are linked together... Well, maybe they don't. Mine just happens to cross a use year and a season change, so that might be why that is in there...

For a regular change in seasons, it will only be a single reservation. It will not be two reservations that are linked.

Points are charged individually by day.

In ursijam's case, it was special because it wasn't just a change in seasons, but an actual change in use years. In that case it is made as two reservations, one in the first use year, and a 2nd in the next use year. And then the two reservations are linked.
