When next in the Greater Disney Area

They charged you for olives? OMG!

I've seen Alton Brown's show and that particular Whole Foods. Nice! I also love the one in mid town Manhattan. :teeth:

O'Mike we have a Bonefish near us, and have stopped by to have a look at the menu, but it's never done much for us? Tell me what you like there, please? We like to have dinner out on Friday evenings and given our dietary restrictions we usually end up at Long Horn. :confused3 (The one near us takes directions quite well). LOL!

I agree about lesbo-land at WF! LOL! It's also gay man land too. :teeth: That's what I meant when I said it was like Gay Days at the grocery store last weekend. :teeth:

I like my Publix, but I sure do love WF.

"Best Mommie Dearest Wave"!!! That has to be patented right? :rotfl:

Not just olives, but three pieces of heaven on a stick!

Tell me what you like there, please?

The Bang shrimp appetizer is awesome. Both the house salad and the Caesar salad are great, never been disappointed in an entree, the au gratin potatoes are to die for, and the creme brulee is very good! And the service is always top notch!

How far is it from Disney ?

There are two in the Disney area, well sort of.

One is at the Loop, a new shopping complex on Osceola Parkway. If you were to leave Disney property on via this parkway (it runs from the entrance of DAK pretty much almost to the airport) it would be about 5 miles down that road.

The other is on "Restaurant Row" which is Sand Lake Road, pretty much near Universal, I'd say about 4 miles away.

But they are a growing chain, here is the website if you want to check to see if there is one near you.

Sorry :flower3: I wanted to know about Whole foods, and I am asumming you are talking about bonefish? ( Although I do have a gift certificate for them I should use that next time!)

Whole foods is on restaurant row also! :rotfl2:

Corner of Turkey Lake and Sand Lake!

Leave Disney via Hotel Plaza Blvd, and at Crossroads turn left. At the next light turn right (Olive Garden) and follow this road for about 4 miles, you cant miss it!

Cool!
Now that we are going to do DVC I am excited about having a kitchen. I looked at the "food" you can order to have delivered, I was not impressed. Whole foods will be cheaper (DVC charged $1 an apple!) and better.

There is a Bonefish at Winter Garden Villages too. A bit of a drive from WDW though.

we have bonefish in NJ too. Never been there yet though

You and your infatuation with chain restaurants, Mike. :lmao: (Sorry....I couldn't resist.)

Blue cheese-stuffed olives are great.....especially once they've been soaking in Bombay Sapphire for a few minutes. Someone told me to try jalepeno-stuffed olives, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. :scratchin

I have had the Jalepeno stuffed olives - ummmm yummy!

I didn't realize Whole Food's was down south! We have a few in NJ. Love Whole Foods!:thumbsup2

Their corporate HQ is in Austin, TX. There are many Whole Foods in the South. Bought the best bay scallops there the other day. I made them up with a fresh basil, heavy cream and white wine sauce. Mmmmm

Stopped by WF again today. They do not have bleu cheese stuffed olives. You have to go to Fresh Market for those, which we did. :teeth:

My favorite thing at Whole Foods is the butternut squash crab bisque. It is AMAZING. But you have to watch for little pieces of crab shell. :scared: I also love the mini ciabatta bread. And the organic yogurt. And the honey flavored turkey breast from the deli.

I actually don't like to go to Whole Foods because it is too "warehouse-y" for me. Something about the atmosphere gives me stress. But on occasion I have to go for work so I make the best of it!

My local store has lots of precious gay men. And a precious marketing director who used to help me with charity events. Can't say I have noticed many lesbians, but I am not good at making that distinction so maybe there are lots. :confused3

Unfortunatly, the Bleu Cheese stuffed olives sold at stores is usually packed in oil, not good for a martini!

BUT, as a snack......:thumbsup2
