I am wondering if it is better to go maybe Sept 30th through maybe the 5th or go the middle of Sept? I'll pull my kids out, no problem with that. I am looking for the lowest crowds. I know Len used to have a crowd blog but I think that is no longer available w/o paying? Thanks for all your help..

Going anytime in Sept will not make that much of a difference. It'll be busy because of the free dining plan but not unmanageable. Just be sure to go to the parks on the right days and make your ADR's! Enjoy!

Personally I think right after Labor day to middle is slightly lower, and I read that on the unofficial crowd predictions. But I don't know for sure.

Hey Donnask8pro - you're from Cherry Hill, we have a new Wegmans store opening there next month. Did you know that? Do you even know what Wegmans is?

We went September 28-October 9, 2004 and there were no crowds at all. We walked straight on to most all of the rides, and we didn't wait more than five or ten minutes on anything. We did use fast passes for the mountains, etc., but the return times were never more than hour and half away and we didn't even need them at times. We did MNSSHP, and there was absolutely no wait for anything. The parade wasn't even crowded and we were in the hub. Saturday was more crowded than any other day. The only lines we experienced at all were at the bus stops when the parks closed and at the restaurants at dinner time. With the free dinning being added this September, it may be a different story, but we had a great time.

I agree...last year DBF and I went Sept. 15-19th with Free Dining and the crowds were practically non-existent. We are headed back at the end of September with Free Dining again this year!!

We are going Sept 27th-Oct 4th and I am really going with an open mind. I think it will be busy, hot and that the restaurants will be crowded.

But we have also been 3 times in the summer too so we know crowds! I am just hoping for the best.

It seems like alot of people are going towards the very end of the promotion so that they can do MNSSHP and the F & W festival. I know we are!

We went last year Sept. 15-23rd and this year 11th-16th. There really were no crowds last year (even with free dining). :thumbsup2 Either time should be good. :goodvibes

Either time will have low crowds, but the middle of September will likely be less crowded than the end. MNSSHP and F&W begin at the end of September and the beginning of October, drawing more people. Last year, even with free dining, we noticed some higher crowd levels as the end of the month approached and October began.

Whatever you choose, the crowds will be low enough to enjoy without worrying about it. If you think you might want to do MNSSHP or F&W, go for the end of Sep. into early Oct. If all you're looking for is the absolute lowest crowds, then the middle of Sep. is your best bet. Have fun!

You guys are the best. Thanks. We usually go early Dec but can't beat free dining.. Wahoo...

This is why we went at that time. It wasn't crowded though. Schools all across the country are back in by that time. For about half of the country they have just started back. DD's school starts back the first full week in August, so I did take her out for the trip. Still, I was surprised at how few children were there. The groups that had children had very small children. From reading these boards, I think crowd levels any time can be different from day to day. We were there eleven days and the crowd level was very low. We even road Kali River Rapids in AK twice without having to get off one day. There were never more than about five or ten other people in the pool when I took DD each evening.

I hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did. This year we are doing WDW at Christmas just to see all the special Christmas decorations and activities, but after this we will never go any other time than end of Sept to beginning of Oct.

We were ther last Sept. 24th - Oct. 1st. We had the free dinnig as well. The weather was very hot still, but crowds were quite managable. We rarly used fastpass's as most attractions were walk on's. I woulds not hesitate at all about going back the same week, in fact we are plannig to return the last week of Sept. in 2008. Good luck with your trip and have fun. I wish I was going back again this year.

We are going Sep 25-30 and I am hoping it isn't soo busy. I think it is not a huyge vacaiton time. Maybe just the pros go this time.

I can see people using the free dining whele school is still our before labor day but I dont think it will be soo bad in sep because many will not pull out of school. Plus I know os some teachers taking theri famlies down the end of the summer for free dining but they can't get off work.

I'm going 15-25th, I hope it's busy but not crowded. I went in January once and it was a ghost town. It just didn't feel right.
