You can do..... everything you can do when the sun shines
The attractions are inside so you only get wet walking from one attraction to another. But I do think it's better to visit MGM or MK on a rainy day, because Epcot's World Show Case and AK have a lot more walking to do between attractions. Have fun!
I agree. You can get ponchos at Wal-Mart for around $1.00 in the camping section. They're folded up small in a really small zip-lock bag and could easily fit in your pocket. I would suggest getting a couple of them so you can just trash them instead of trying to fold them back up for another day. A lot of people disappear in the rain, so it's a great time to be in the parks. Like the previous poster, I would go with MK or MGM, though some people report more animals being out at AK in the rain. Mostly, just get out and go have fun. (Word of warning...DisneyQuest will be crowded on rainy days.)
When we went in June '03, one day we had nearly 10 inches of rain, according to local telecasts at the time. That said, we had a great time. Not too many people in the parks, short waits in line. It did get somewhat warm in the ponchos in the afternoon though. Everything was running, as there was no lightening.
As for the "cheap" dollar store ponchos. In substaintial rain you won't get more than a day or two use out of them. The wear & tear of getting on & off rides will destroy them. We had to purchase the infamous Mickey ponchos after a few days.

I can get them in packs of 2 for a dollar at our dollar store. I've picked up 3 packs so far and will get another 3 which will give us 4 ponchos each. For 50 cents they can go in the trash at the end of each day. LOL
Resort hopping is always interesting if the weather is too bad and you can get a good meal at one of them. And as was mentioned, DTD is also a great choice, but could be crowded. Don't let some rain spoil your trip. Disney is magical no matter what the weather is!! Have fun!!
There are no special places in Orlando to go when it rains. If it was raining in your hometown, what would you do? It's the same here. You go to movies, malls, museums ... or you just go to the theme parks wearing a raincoat.
I know you're looking for this big, definitive list of WHERE TO GO WHEN IT RAINS, but there isn't one. Anywhere you would go on a sunny day is fair game on a rainy day. Rainy days in Orlando tend to be only a few hours of actual rain, anyway, so it's not like you have to plan some big "rainday" somewhere else.
If you're trying to find out where else to go in Orlando outside of the parks, there are dozens of Orlando and Central Florida websites that will tell you about other things in the area. Without more information about the kinds of things you like or are looking for, it's hard for anyone here to help you, particularly when all of our answers don't seem to be enough!
