When is your spring (or winter) break 2010?

AEA {Alabama's Spring Break} is mid-March, though we're not doing WDW then. I would NEVER come during Spring Break. I think I would just skip it all together! I can't imagine how crowded it is!

We also have the Monday and Tuesday off for President's Day. We're actually coming the week before that though.

THanks for the Poll, it seems that we have a nice number of replies. It seems that I have chosen the better of the two weeks of our March Break to go; March 7 - 14.

Awesome info. In south Louisiana we are off for Mardi Gras Feb. 15th and 16th (and 17th in some areas). We will be in WDW then. I've heard that it's all Purple and Gold there during Mardi Gras.

I have 2 girls in college and they each have different breaks. Most of the schools here in Texas have the March 15-19 dates while the college in Florida my younger daughter is attending is March 8-12. My DH and I will probably come down to Florida/WDW/USF for both weeks, meeting the younger one and then having the older one fly in once she finishes classes on the Friday prior to the start of her break so that we can all 4 be together for the one overlapping weekend.

Trying our first spring break next spring in order to use our AP's one more time before they expire (went last spring over Memorial Day weekend which was earlier than next year). I noticed the poll skips weekend dates. Why is that BTW? I checked the box which ended 3/26 & the next box which starts on 3/29 but we will be there on 3/27 & 3/28 as well which wasn't included in the poll.

Our DS's spring break bounces around Easter from year to year, some years before, some after, just depending when Easter falls - but I can never predict what they will do. ANYWAY, his break next year is the week BEFORE so we're going down on Fri. night 3/26 which is his last day of school & we're staying 6 nights, leaving for home on Thurs 4/1. At first we were thinking Sat 3/27 or Sun 3/28 but then I saw the airfares shot WAY UP starting on Fri 4/2 and I noticed that the DVC points go up starting on Sun 3/28. So I called DVC MS & they confirmed that starting that weekend OF Easter would be the total madness week. They said the last week of March would certainly be busy but not NEARLY as busy as the first week of April. That sealed it for me to "get in & get out" by backing it up a day & just getting home before Easter.

Thanks for posting this poll! It made me go back and look up the one from 2007 (last time I voted in a spring break poll) It was interesting, both times our week of Spring Break wasn't the top pick. Since we're going over break again this year, I'll keep my fingers crossed that last time wasn't a fluke. (I was worried beforehand, but we got there and it wasn't 'bad' at all.) I'm introducing my dad, brothers etc. to the world this time, and I want it to be awesome!!

We have break Feb 15-19 and March 29-April 2. I love being a teacher- I get the same breaks that the kids do (except for planning days, of course)!

Our school is the week after Easter. But there is a smaller one for a Friday and Monday in March for the 12-15th off and we are going to take advantage of that and go for the week of March 8th. Then the kids don't miss too much school.

We live in NW Illinois and our school's Spring Break is the week before Easter (March 29-April 2). We will be going to WDW March 26-April 4. We ususally go in the Jan-Feb timeframes, but with DD being in middle school it is not as easy to pull her out of school for a week. I am hoping that the crowds are not too bad, but we are going with the expectation that it will most likely be busy. The good thing is that the weather should be warmer than it can be in Jan-Feb.

College spring break here is March 8 - 12. Local K-12 schools are a few weeks later.

I haven't decided about Disney. AP hotel rates are only so-so, although airfare is not bad. I don't think it will be as crowded this week, but it also won't be as warm.

We have off Feb. 15-19 and April 5-9, Having a hard time deciding which week we want to go to Florida, Parks are going to crazy both times. But I am leaning toward April.
