When is Your Spring Break This Year?

For those that go to Disneyland (not WDW) when is your Spring Break this year?

My son is out April 16-20 a whole week after Easter.
He gets Presidents day Week off in Feb too.

We are in Central CA, my DD is out April 2-13 (modified year round) we will be going the first week of April to celebrate her 7th .

I'm in Northern CA and our spring break is the first week of April. We too get the whole week of President's week off and I will be at the parks. I am hoping it is not horrid but then I was there on Veteran's day weekend and December 29th and both days the park sold out so I figure it can't be any worse than that LOL. Plus we are arriving Monday night and leaving Saturday so won't be going on and weekend days so hopefully it isn't too bad.

Of the 13 most largest cities in California, seven are out the week before Easter, including the two largest cities (LA and San Diego) and only four are out the week after Easter (only one of which is in the top 7 most populated.) Stockton is out both weeks? That's weird.

Los Angeles - April 2-6
San Diego - April 2-6
San Jose - April 9-13
San Francisco - March 24-28
Long Beach - April 2-6
Fresno - April 2-6,9
Sacramento - April 2-6
Oakland - April 9-13
Santa Ana - March 9-23
Orange (includes Anaheim area elementary schools) - April 2-6
Bakersfield - April 2-6
Riverside - April 9-13
Stockton - April 2-13

Looking at major cities outside of CA within an easy drive, two of the three are out week before Easter:

Phoenix - March 12-16 (High School), 19-23 (most elementary?)
Las Vegas (Clark County) - April 2-6
Tucson - April 5-6,9 (they get short changed on theirs!)

So it appears the week before Easter will be probably the busiest followed by the week after Easter, followed by the last two weeks in March. It looks like there will be a significant drop though between the week of Easter and week after Easter.

Some schools here in Vegas are out for two weeks at Easter. It is if you are a modified 5 track at a year round school, you get the week before and the week after. My Aunt teaches Kindy and had that for many years before switching back to 9 month school!

And wow! If no one else seems to have Spring Break that week, maybe I should reconsider and plan our vacation for then. Weather would be better, that's for sure. And I wouldn't have the school breathing down my neck for calling in.

I just might have to spend today stalking the web for hotel rates those dates.
