When is your Spring Break next year?

We're thinking of a trip for the week of April 23rd. Is that anyone's week off from school? We'd like to avoid heavy vacation weeks. Our school's have the previous week off.

I don't think there will be many schools out--incl college level.

Our breaks are right before or after Easter. For 2007, Easter is 4/8. After that week after Easter, it's just too close to school being let out for summer to see spring breaks still going on.

It should be a GREAT time to travel.

We are in NJ and our school break is the week of the 23rd. It is always the last week in April regardless of when the holidays fall. Now, this is not the case for all of NJ, but this is what our school district does. Because Easter is so early in the month, I agree with the above poster, that the parks shouldnt be that crowded but be aware that there will be schools that are off that week and therefore families heading to Disney. I know of a few already LOL!!

Most schools in the North East USA are either the week before or after Easter - April 8th.

To confirm the above post, MD schools are 2-9th April. I guess that means Easter is early this year.

My college and the three others in my immediate area all break on March 5 through 9. We're skipping out on Feb. 28 and staying until 3/11. While it's true that school breaks tend to cluster around Easter, there are plenty that do so earlier than that.

My Spring Break (college) is March 3-11. From talking to friends that go to other colleges, this seems to be the norm for college breaks.

Although our schedule for next year is not yet out, for the past 4 years spring break in Middle Tennessee (Nashville area) has always been toward the end of March.

I've been wondering this too! Our spring break is the week of April 16. This is a huge difference from the past, we've always had it the last week of March.

Sorry, but in our district in NJ the kids are out the week of the 23rd. We've been off the week prior to Easter for a few years now.

Plan on it being busy, then if it isn't you won't be disappointed!
