When Is Your NEXT Vacation To Disney?

Even though I live five minutes away from Disney World I won't be going again until at least September. It is too crowded and too hot right now to have any kind of enjoyment there. I went there last week and everyone just looked too hot and miserable. The heat index yesterday was up to 110!

We don't "vacation" to Disney---we go for getaways. So I voted never....

Though we are going for the Marathon in January.

So far the plan is going May 11-19 2006 staying at POP. I haven't made any ressies yet. Plan on going through AAA and waiting to see what they might offer in Jan since that is their Disney month.

Trying to get DS and DD into a new school system. Haven't heard anything from the school system just yet {they have til July 15}. If they do get in, not really sure what the school's policy is about taking kids out of school. I don't think it should be an issue cause it's toward the end of the school year. But you just never know.

If anyone else is going around this time, let me know.

Ok, not really but I am sooooo jealous !!! I've always wanted to take a cruise through the canal, just never had the opportunity...and to be able to do it on the Disney ship....MAN, am I jealous

If my house is sold by then, it will be late November/early December.. It will be a family vacation - myself, DD, son-in-law, 6 yr. old granddaughter, DD's in-laws and a friend who will come up to join us for a few days from Port St. Lucie..

Then the end of December I'll be driving down to Florida for 3 months to stay with my sister and will buy an AP so I can go to the parks whenever the mood strikes me.. I may even try to get some temp work at Disney while I'm down there..

We're surprising DD & DS with a trip from January 7-17, 2006. We leave the morning after DD's 7th birthday...can't wait! It will be the kiddos first airplane ride to boot.
