When is Your Next Royal Cruise?

Allure again in 5 days with GD, her 1st Oasis class ship. It will be wrapped around a WDW trip @ OKW & AK. We do love the parks over the 4th of July, even tho we melt

Wasn’t wow’d by the Allure in November, was fine. Just not as good as previous sailing on the Oasis. The bumps weren’t enough to prevent us from rebooking it a few months later for upcoming cruise. Happy to see new ship being positioned out of PC though.

Utopia early December for 4 nights, just he & me. Again, wrapped around a WDW trip, WL & AK.

While we enjoy longer sailings on the smaller ships, the short ones on the big gals work well enjoying the parks in the same trip.

Need to book a cruise (or two) for next year! Nothing has spoken to me, yet.

Sadly, we were priced out of DCL a few years ago, our “status” will soon disappear. We have managed Emerald in a few years on RCCL. The balcony state room discount is nice perk ($100 pro rated over 7 night sailing).

We are so excited to be doing our first Royal Caribbean cruise soon - July 14th, 6 day on Harmony out of Galveston! We’ve done a handful of other cruises (3 Carnival, 1 Celebrity, 1 Disney), but I am pumped to see what a RC Oasis class ship is like. We are extra thrilled because we just got a Royal Up bid granted yesterday. We are going from an ocean-view balcony to a Crown Loft Suite - I am honestly shocked, as we had a ‘weak’ bid and I know suites were already fully booked when we booked our room.

Wow, that's amazing! Quite a big jump on the Royal Up. Congrats!
I haven't been on Harmony yet (although it's booked for 2025) but love Oasis class ships.
Enjoy your cruise. Report back what you think.

We are going on our first Royal Caribbean cruise October 12, 2024 aboard Brilliance out of New Orleans. We haven't been on a cruise since our Honeymoon in 2010 (Carnival) and are excited to be bringing our four kids on their first cruise.

We have our first RC cruise booked for March. Tell me about Royal Up.

You will likely get an email from Royal offering you the opportunity to bid on higher categories of cabins. When you go to the linked page you can decide which categories to bid on and how much it is worth to you. There will be a slider that moves from the lowest possible bid to the highest. Adjust the slider for what is financially comfortable for you and then hope for the best.

Royal Up bids are processed any time all the way up to the day of departure so don't expect to hear back quickly.

Congrats on the Royal Up. We have done the Harmony twice and once were lucky enough to get the Royal Up to a Crown Loft Suite. That room is one of the better options. One thing I'll caution is the side facing are are more desirable than the rear facing CLS. The rear facing are not bad, just not as private or quiet as the side facing. If you enjoy people watching, it can be a bonus. Since you are not picking your room hopefully the location is not a "negative'.

Happy cruising.

Years ago we went from a Grand Suite on Oasis to a Crown Loft - 1750. Can only say it was a little AWESOME!!! Sadly, due to pricing, we no longer cruise Royal.

ENJOY YOUR CRUISE!!!!

We get to head out next Friday on our next cruise. Happy to say that we also got a Royal Up win on this one, which brings us up to 4 "wins" in 7 attempts.

We were just on Oasis of the seas for 7 nights (august 18-25) out of barcelona.
All 10 of us had such a spectacular time that i've booked all of us on Allure of the Seas for next August also for 7 nights out of barcelona!!!! Can't wait!! And it will be after her dry dock, so she'll have all the new bells and whistles.

We are trying to decide between Wonder or Star of the Seas next year. Have been on Navigator and Mariner and had a fun time!

Haven't done the Icon class yet, but if you haven't been on an Oasis class ship yet, that alone will be great. In my opinion Wonder is the best of the Oasis class ships mainly because it's the newest. But you can't go wrong with either - maybe go with the best price (which will likely be Wonder).

Any Oasis class ship is great. My fav is the Symphony.

I can't wait for the Icon to become a little more reasonable priced. I'm on it as soon as the price drops. It looks incredible.

Yes, we are excited to try an Oasis class ship! Definitely a upgrade from the smaller Royal ships, we will probably go with Wonder since it is cheaper. Which restaurants do you recommend?

We are looking forward to Icon as well. I keep watching those prices. Have a 3 night on Allure in January and a 10 night on Odyssey in October. Looking forward to both.

no royal ups for us. they've been more than I'm interested to pay.

have taken to stalking RCCL availability after final payment day and upgrading when I see an attractively priced upgrade

on 2nd GTY cruise switch. first go-round received a lovely balcony assignment. fingers crossed our eventual cabin on utopia in Dec follows suit!

need to get another cruise in the books, I'm shocked at pricing on Icon. going to try & wait it out lol
