When Is Your Kids Fall Break From School?

We start August 1st, have fall break the first week of October, 2 weeks for Christmas, Spring Break in March, and we're done in mid May.

Fall Break? you've got to be kidding! For what?
We already get Labor Day, Election Day, 2 days at Thansgiving,7 days at Christmas and a full week at easter.... Why on Earth would they need a break in October, schools barely begun???

this is VERY similar to what our system does. When the school board proposed the change, people were very hesitant...but now, it seems to be very popular!

We start on August 1 here, and our fall break is September 19 through 23. This is our first year on this schedule, and I think about half of our community is going to Disney that week (me included! )

No Fall breaks for us, either!

DS9 goes back Aug. 15. He will be off for Labor Day (just the Monday) and then he will have exactly ONE day off between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. It is Oct. 21 for "State Fair Day".

So we're going to Disney Oct. 14-23.

DS started this past Mon.He will be off for Labor day weekend.He has 3rd week of Oct. off for Fall Break.He has 3 days plus the weekend for Thanksgiving,he gets almost 3 weeks off at Christmas,a 4 day weekend in Feb., a week in April plus various 3 day weekends here and there.


I love their school schedule ...it's been like this for the last 4 years!!
