DH and I are going to Disney in June...our first summer visit. According to last year's hours the water parks will be open 9:00-6:00 when we are there. I've read that you should either go at opening or after 2:00. Which do you prefer and what have your experiences been going at either time? TIA :sunny:

If you want to ride Summit Plummet at BB, be there when the rope drops. I did it twice at opening and when I went up for a 3rd time around 9:15, the wait was up to 20-30 min.

Otherwise, going in the afternoon is good time to go and cool off. The crowds get smaller as the afternoon wears on.

Thank you...I guess I should have mentioned that we're probably not going to do any slides, at least not big ones. The ones with a mat or raft are possibilities. I'm mostly interested in the lazy river things and relaxing!

We usually don't do the big slides and DH works nights, so we go around 1 pm in the afternoon and stay until close. This year, with the opening of Slusher Gusher at TL, I am sure there will be a few days we will be there when the open, so we can experience it!

we usualy go at opening but with the extra late hours hopefully being available this summer we may just change our routine and go in the afternoon

we usually like to go in the morning and leave in the afternoon to go back to the resort, clean up, and then head to one of the resorts for a nice dinner.

you get so HUNGRY after swimming all day!!! :rotfl:

I voted first thing because we always plan to be at BB & TL one morning each at opening. I'm not sure why we do first thing, but I think I'm afraid that if I show up after 2:00, it will be the most crowded day ever and we won't get to do anything. Later in the week we always schedule one other afternoon to head over to TL to just play in the wave pool.
