November/December. Nothing beats DL for the holidays. We've always been lucky with fabulous weather (sometimes 80's) and its great getting pics with Santa.

I love going on Oct. its my birthday month ahhahaha:lmao:. Also January, I agree nice and cool :goodvibes and low crowds..

my favorite month/months are Novemeber/December because its usually slow and all of the holiday decorations are up and it just makes the park that more extra special and unique.

Well, it just sortof works out that way.

This year and last (my kids first two trips to DLR) we have only been able to go in August.

I think I'd rather have it in the winter though. Cheaper, slower, cooler. Rain. Shorter days, opening later means magic morning is at a reasonable hour. Sounds good.

I don't have a favorite as I have gone only when I'm not teaching and therefore have encountered large crowds each time. I still have a blast, but it gets tiring dealing with all of the people.

This year, I am taking a couple of personal days in October and taking my kids (4th and 2nd grade) out of school for a surprise trip to DL. We will be there on the 8th to the 10th. I hope to find a favorite month on this trip!

I totally agree with ChickenCarlos. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the holiday season, and if it can be cold (for California), then even better. If it drops down to 40 degrees at night and I have to drag out the neck scarf and the gloves and all that, it makes it seem more wintry to me. I think DLR takes on a whole other kind of special magic during the holiday season that surpasses the magic it has during the rest of the year. It is really just a feast for all the senses. Truly stunning. It is total holday immersion. It has to be experienced at least once by everyone, I think! I could go 10 times during the holiday season and not get there the rest of the year and I would be happy.

Second to November/December for me is October. I love the Halloweentime stuff, but I am not crazy about the October heatwaves.

June here.....I know WHY?? right? It's hot, crowded, and hot lol. DH and I have gone in June for the past 4 years so it's just a kind of tradition for us. This year we are going in Aug so i'm excited to see how that goes!

Lately we've only ever been in July/Aug. Hot and crowded, but it is when dh is off from teaching. Hoping to make an early Jan trip next year since we have 3 weeks off for winter break. Who knows though, we might be too broke after Christmas. But for sure we want to go in Nov, Sun-Wed of Thanksgiving week since we get that whole week off. We've never seen DLR at holiday time.

January. It is cold at night so the park is very manageable and the holiday rush and hoopla is over.

i wanted may but reallllly am aching to go sooner! lol. i was thinkin the last week of february, i just worry about one of my fav. rides being in refurb! lol. i cant decide! lol

I like October. Warm, and plus with HalloweenTime going around, it's a pretty cheery atmosphere. I'd like to go for my birthday, which is in January, but my parents always say it's too cold, and it's the middle of the school year, so I guess it makes sense.

February is my fav month.... if I had to choose a second it would be December.... I love February because the weather is perfect and least about of crowds

Honestly? ANYTIME...no really it is the Holiday season along with alot of you other DISers...There is nothing like the atmosphere at DL with the holiday spirit in the air. They make the most amazing hot chocolate and sugar cookies in the Reindeer Round up area. We make it a point to purchase either a large gingerbread boy or sugar cookie tree they are around $5 and come with assorted fostings and toppings. The kid just love to decorate with Mrs Claus and listen the the christmas music. Yummy!
