When is "value" season?

I thought that value season began on Jan. 1st. We are going Jan.5th to the 12th, 2002, and the quote I got from DU is a regular season quote, I believe. Did they change the dates of value season for 2002? Thanks!

We are going the exact same dates as you and were also quoted the regular season rate, because when we booked, the 2002 rates had not been released yet.

I called yesterday and they were still loading the ACTUAL 2002 rates into the system, but didn't have our resort in yet, so I'm going to keep calling back until I can find out what the real rate is. I will be bummed if our value season rate turns out to have gone up to the regular season price.

Princess Poppy, I found out that they give everyone regular season rates until the 2002 rates come out, which all but deluxe have as of now. The time we are both going is still considered value season, with Allstars going for $77/night and moderates for $133/night. So, the rates went down for us!!
