When is Toon Town closing?

I thought I had read on here that Toon Town won't be closing until after the new year. Is that right? I didn't pay much attention because we weren't going this year. But we might be making a quick weekend trip this fall. The first weekend in October to be exact. I am hoping we can see Mickey and Minnie's houses one last time.

According to allears.net... Toontown will be closing late 2010, early 2011. The specific date is not known right now.

I'm hoping it'll hold out until after Sept/Oct. We'll be there then.

The latest 411 on the Disney Parks Blog indicated that construction would not start until early 2011, which suggests that TT won't close until early 2011. In any case, no one really knows for sure.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's still there in September too !! It's my DD4's first time and I'd love for her to see it...if only just once.

we were there last week and saw they've broken ground behind fantasy land. You could see it from the train. Looks mostly lake just clearing land right now...but it's coming soon.

None of the rides should be closing except Dumbo, and I think that will be once the new one is up and running

I hope it doesn''t close til 2011 as we are going in late December, early January and would really like to see Mickey and Minnie's house again and have my 2 year old see them.
