When is this smilie appropriate???

It says "love1" but I cannot, for the life of me, see when it would be used. There is nothing I have ever said on these boards that would require this particualr smilie. DO I just have a sick mind, or do others wonder about this smilie? That guy in the middle looks TOO happy.
