When is the other half of Pop Century...

...supposed to open up? I believe it's called "The Legendary Years" or something like that? I was just curious what the timetable was.

My DH and I were just at Pop Century two weeks ago. We walked over the Generation Gap bridge to the halfway point and got a good look at the Legendary Years main hall as well as two of the guest buildings. The hall had the 10's, 20's, 30's, and 40's icons installed, but was still painted a terra cotta color. I wasn't sure which of the guest buildings we were looking at, but they were to the right of the main hall. It appears landscapers were doing some work on the trees along Hourglass Lake on that side as well.

We'd love to know when this other side will open. We had a wonderful time on the Classic side (50's Building A) and would love to try the Legendary Years section.

The buildings that are constructed will eventually become the 1940s. I beleive icons will include televisions, and a Route 66 pool. Other icons throughout the Legendary Years will include transistor radios, Crayola crayons, a Coca Cola bottle shaped pool, among other really cool items that I cannot remember.

There is no current word on when construction will start up.
