When is the next homeschool day

There is one in October, but I don't know if it's filled or not. I got the email announcing it back in the spring.

They *should* announce the next one in November for a date sometime in Jan-Feb next year.

Can someone fill me in on "Homeschool Days"? We are new to homeschooling and any way I can combine Disney and Homeschooling I am in!

Twice a year Disney offers one "Disney Student Seminar" (formally known as Homeschool Days) which is one class (this year it's on October 8th) and you can add additional classes for $35 each during a specific time frame. The whole family can get discounted Disney tickets when you register for the student seminar, but you must attend the class. This year, the "official" Disney Student Seminars program term is September 27 to October 12, according to the website. Tickets that you purchase are only good within that time frame.

I had no idea this existed. I would love to do this with my daughter, who is a senior in high school. It looks like there are some in February.

We've only done the homeschool days, not the other dates so I don't know how they work.

Anyone know how YES programs work when you are already in the parks on vacation? We will be there for 2 weeks and have never had dates overlap well, but there is a class my son will love this time, but I am confused about buying the tickets. We will already have 10 day hopper tickets, do I still have to pay $90ish per person (just son and I, others will stay in the park we start the day at)?
