When is the free dining over with?

I was wondering when it is over since we have all read so many reports of bad service and it may be due to so many more people then usual eating TS meals with the free dining. Our trip is not till mid Nov. and I thought that maybe since the dining plan isn't free at that time then maybe it won't be as busy in the TS places and maybe the service might be a little better!

Probably just wishful thinking!!

I was thinking of asking the same thing. We are traveling in a little over a week and did not purchase the dining plan but would still like to eat at some TS restaurants. I haven't decided where we want to eat at yet and was hoping I might be able to make some same-day ADR's. Is it totally hopeless?

I would call and make some. We were there in September which is and was a very slow time yet they were still turning people away at all the table services I was at. I was at Le Cellier for lunch and someone tried to walk up and they ended up giving them and ADR for liek 3 days later. I would just make some, even alot , as you can always cancle when you are there and it is better than having nothing. We actually made an ADR every night for dinner and ended up using them which we never normally do . Better safe than sorry.

I believe you had to check in by Oct 4th so I would imagine those folks would be wrapping up their vacations in the next 7 days.

I think that the Free Dining should be over by midnight tonight. The last day to start a vacation with Free Dining was October 4, as denman said, and don't think that you were able to book for longer than 10 days.

So tomorrow, things should be back to normal - whatever THAT is.
