When is the Electrical Parade leaving?

Can someone tell me when the Electrical Parade will be leaving? I missed it when we were just there, wondering if we'll get another chance to see it?

It's usually around through spring break time, is my understanding. So I'd expect it to disappear by early May. Maybe somebody else has more definite info?

Well, it is currently running on weekends Fri-Sun to fill in for BPB which just was moved to WDW. It will continue to run weekends until the new Pixar Play Parade is premiered in mid-March. I'm not exactly sure what will happen after that, but historically, they present it daily during the two weeks surrounding Easter and on weekends following that until summer peak hits (mid to late June), and then it begins showing daily again.

Oh, I am so upset now. We are going to DLR for first time mid to late April. I thought that this parade always goes on there, since they took it away from WDW years ago. It was always my favorite! at WDW. I was really looking forward to seeing it, even changed our ressies to make sure we are there on a Saturday night, since I had read that many parades just happen on the weekends.

Don't fret yet, historically they have run the DEP on weekends in April. I would assume they would continue that trend, and you'll be seeing it.

Edited to add: Just checked the March ent. calendar on disneyland.com, and it lists the DEP showing on weekends at 8:45 when the Pixar Play Parade is showing at 5:15. I'd say you're pretty much guaranteed to have the same schedule in April.

No, no. The DEP is not going anywhere. It's BPB that has gone to WDW.

I'm actually encouraged by this. I thought the EP was a spring break thing and we were going to try to go in late April, but that didn't work out; we're looking at early May now. But it sounds like there's a chance, at least, of us still seeing the EP!

We went last May 11-17 and saw it on the weekend. The info. that Danger Mouse gave on the parade's pattern is totally right, so there is hope...LOL

We're hoping to catch the parade on a Sunday evening in May - that's the only weekend day we'll be there unfortunately!
