I'm curious if anyone has a strategy about viewing shows. Is it typically better crowd wise to go to the first show or maybe plan on the last one? In DL I want to see Mickey and the Magical Map, Jedi Training, And Story telling at the Royal Theater. In DCA I plan to see Aladdin and Disney Jr. I'm going in June and not sure if all the show times are essentially the same to get into or if some times are better, as in I don't need to get in line super early. Am I over thinking this?

We don't wait for much and have always had great luck. That being said, if you MUST do any of these shows and you won't be visiting DL again soon, go as early as you need to to feel safe.

Mickey and the Magical Map -- just show up at show time.

Jedi -- with kids who want to participate, go 15 min early. Just to watch, getting a seat at Tomorrowland Terrace that looks over the show is hit and miss but you can view standing to the side at show time.

Royal Theatre -- last did this in Feb or April and they had Fastpass (is this still Fastpass?) We lined up 15 minutes before show time and they took standby to replace Fastpass no shows. Likely no standby from here on out through summer though!

Aladdin -- we have never waited ever. If we are walking by when people are walking in and we have time, we go on in (or up!) We are always seated up high and the view is great.

Disney Jr is floor seating in a wide open space so just hop in line when you see everyone lining up.

Thanks for the info. Anybody else have strategies they use for seeing shows?
