When is the Best time of year to take the Eastern Caribbean?

We will be on the Disney Magic for the June 26 cruise.
From reading the posts, I really have not gotten a good idea of when, if we book again, is the best time to cruise. We are waiting until June because my teens will be graduating from high school. They will attend college in the fall and spring, so our schedule will be limited then also.
Considering all this, what kind of advise do the experienced Disney Cruisers or any cruise line have for us?

Can you give us insight on crowds, weather, etc??

We have only cruised once, it was in may. We thought the weather was perfect! The ship was full, but the only time it bothered me was waiting for pictures on formal night. The ship being full didn't bother us like it seems to bother some other people. I think whenever you go you will have a MAGICal time!

Go during their winter break when the weather is cold. We went in January to the eastern and it was beautiful (sometimes hot) everyday.

We did the eastern in Jan. during MLK week. Great weather - low to mid 80's and minimal humidity. We actually enjoyed being outside (unlike mid August which is HOT and HUMID!!)

We have been in Dec, Jan and March... anytime is a good time..

We are booked again for Nov 2005.. waiting for summer 2005 to open up...

Actually, we have done the cruise in March, and the weather was generally wonderful, though the water at Castaway Cay was too cold for me (we enjoyed the beach immensely).,.. Our table mates did snorkel, though they were from Canada, and still thought it was very cold!

We have also cruised in May...and the temps were very warm (high 80s most days)

Bottom line - I would book a cruise on DCL, any time I can get away, and pay for the ticket!
