I was at DL last summer and my last day was July 15th (the actual 50th anniversary). Man, was it PACKED! I'll be back this summer from 6/27-6/29, and was wondering what the official ending date for the 50th celebration is? Anyone know?

Disney has been giving different answers for a couple of months. I dont think anyone will know until the last gold Mickey is actually removed. It was originally going to end the beginging of Nov (18 months from the start date of May 5). Then in early Feb. I emailed and asked and was told the end of this year. Others have been told the first week of Sept. My guess: they will "extend" it to due to popular demand or some such thing. I would guess we'll see at least parts of it stick around until the new year.

No question for a June trip- it will still be in full swing.

We called yesterday and were told by the CM that the last day for the decorations and Golden Mickeys is October 2nd.

All other special events, attractions, shows, etc will continue through 2006.

So we've moved our October trip up to May!
