We were planning the end of April/beginning of May. We normally go then.

Now, (after price scouting ) my husband wants to move our vacation up !!!

He'd like end of March/beginning of April (when the hospital he's building is finished).

I told him that March is bad because of Spring Break. Our runs from March 25-April 1.

When would be the earliest we could go without being price gouged from Spring Break prices?

Thanks in advance !!! :cool1:

editted:(corrected May for March)

I wouldn't worry about getting price gouged but being packed in like sardines at the park. It is very crowded from the middle of March until the middle of April.

Is there anyway you could go the very end of February or at least the first few days in March. If not, I'd keep your trip as planned at the end of April. May is not crowded until around Memorial day.

I sure hope you are staying onsite for front of the line as you'll need it.

we've got friends coming down the last week of march and I've begged them to reconsider. but that's spring break to them. so we'll be at the parking garage at 8 AM. mail me some express passes please, Bev. :D

From Michigan-our district schools spring break is March 25-April 1. The university's here start first week in March to somewhere around the 11th of March. College probably not such a big factor at WDW, but airlines could be another story.

Orlando spring break is March 21-25. But really every part of the country has spring breaks at different times.

The busiest time at the parks in the spring is the middle of March to the middle of April.

the first week of May is one of the best times to visit any of the parks. great weather, and short lines.

I totally agree on that one. Early May is wonderful!

Well, I had to do it. We're going March 27 (Easter) thru April 7.

We'll be at the parks the 28th thru the 30th. Good thing that I was able to book the RPH. I've never been onsite before bacause we normally stay at the Quality Suites (free breakfast buffet, drinks in evening and fits 5) for $59.

But seeing that we were forced (my husband's job is driving him bonkers), I decided to spend the extra money to stay onsite. I almost feel guilty spending the extra money becausse I always try to save. But, like my husband says, "You'll get over it!!!".

I feel like a little kid. I can't believe we're staying onsite!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Gotta go work on my countdown timer !! :jumping1:

You'll have a great time with FOTL. I'm so glad you decided to stay onsite. It will be soooo worth it at that time of year.

I guess we are going at the wrong time of year lol. We can only go during spring break ( I guess we could wait longer but I am going nuts as it is waiting for March) The kids spring break and my spring break are march 20-25 also. If we can afford a room onsite I am going to try my hardest to make that happen. Even if it is just for one or two nights. We would be heading down march 19th which is a saturday and would be there 8 nights. So maybe I could find a room onsite for that sunday and monday??? possibility??? Planning is so much fun

Our spring break here in East Tennessee is March 21 - 28, 2005. Can't believe Orlando's is the same week. Hopefully, the locals will stay clear of the parks knowing all we tourists are coming!

Spring break for Indiana University and the schools around Bloomington, IN is March 14-March18. I know Indianapolis spring break is the week after that.

Here in central NY spring break is either the second or third week of April...depending on the school district. For me it is the 3rd, my son, the 2nd.

If I were to take my son out of school and go the third week (some year), what would the crowds be like?
