When is Splash closing for good?

It's going to be replaced with a Princess and the Frog attraction soon, right?

I'm getting my debit card from social security soon, and I might use it to buy Disney tickets for me, my brother, and his girlfriend. I really want to ride Splash because I didn't do it in 2016 (because I was scared of the drop. Since then, I've done Coal Cracker at Hersheypark.) Problem is, I don't know when it's closing; it seems like it's still up according to a few posts I've read. I might be going June-August 2021.

My understanding is that it is delayed but not cancelled.

There are actually 3 drops (one is a double), one being the biggest but 90 percent of the ride was really a boat ride. Splash was often down for repairs or refurb a lot of the time, so there is no guarantee it will be open on the days you visit anyways.

It was a great ride and you will probably forget about the upcoming drop while you're on it because it's classic Walt and as immersive as Pirates. I probably will not bother with it after they change it. I understand why people have an issue with the movie but the Uncle Remus stories are awfully good stories and they were portrayed quite well in the ride.

Honestly, I won't have a problem with the drop because I've been on Coal Cracker at Hershey.
