When is Saratoga Springs opening?

When is Saratoga Springs opening? Will a family of 5 be able to stay in the same room here? Anyone know what the rates will be? Thanks!!!

Saratoga Springs will be a DVC resort, and is opening in Late May. They will have studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom grand villas. A family of 5 will have to reserve either a 2 bedroom or grand villa, as the studio and 1 bedroom units have an occupancy limit of 4. A two bedroom villa will probably start out around $500 per night for a cash reservation. Renting points from a DVC member can be a significant savings off cash prices.

I believe SSR is sceduled to open on May 17. There are DVC Members grand opening events scheduled the following week. Initially, only one building will be opening. As of last week availability for DVC members was limited. Not sure if any of the opening inventory has been given to Disney for cash reservations. If so, you should be able to make reservations now.

As with all DVC units, a studio and 1 br sleep 4, not including children under 3. A 2 br sleeps 8.

As for speculating on cash rates, I'd imagine they'd be similar to OKW.

Disney has ownership interest in SSR to make cash reservations. BUt dont wait to book. it does open May 17th. We'll be there.
