Any other thoughts?
Sorry - I wasn't trying to offend you - just pointing out what I thought was an odd contradiction, that you want to see kids having fun, but not 1000 kids having fun... I guess I'm not sure how many is too many in a park that is so large. I wasn't trying to instigate an argument by any means. Point taken.
I am also a coach. I have had ONE instance where a parent could not afford to go with their child. The cheerleader traveled with another coach as part of her family. So . . . the above statement is not ALWAYS TRUE. Also, the children ARE NOT paid for by the organization (ours anyway . . . I WISH!!). Some costs are deferred through fundraising, but not all.
My DD is on an allstar team and our gym does not pay for any of the fees. Its up to us to eitehr raise the money or it comes from our pockets. but.. it is well worth it!!
