When is Mexico's Tequila bar open?

My Dh is going to Orlando tomorrow for the day and is going to stop at Epcot for lunch. He heard me read this and has to check it out. So, we will let you know what he finds out.:thumbsup2

I'd like to know this too! It would be great to knock back a couple of shots of Patron or Don Julio, and then a few passes on the Maelstrom.

This is what was posted on allears.net:
In Mexico, a 50- to 60-seat tequila bar replaces a retail shop in the pavilion's spacious indoor courtyard in summer 2007. And the pavilion's waterfront Cantina de San Angel is expanding with more seating with optimal views of World Showcase, and will offer a new menu by summer 2008.

Well DH said when he walked into the pavilion everything was still there and no bar yet. He talked to a cast member that appeared to be incharge. He said that he was aware of the plan, but was not sure when the project would begin. Hope to find out more when we go for the Food & Wine Fest.:thumbsup2

There were no signs of it when we went a couple of weeks ago. I was hoping it was there already =(

There are no words that can express my disappointment in hearing this sad news.:sad2: This will ruin our whole vacation!:rotfl2: Not really, but it would have been cool.

. . . There are no words that can express my disappointment in hearing this sad news. This will ruin our whole vacation! . . .

1) I feel your pain.
2) I have heard of totally, positively, and equivocally ruined vacations because
. . . people didn't get a free room upgrade
. . . people didn't get one of their favorite ADR's
. . . people didn't get their child onto a special activity
. . . people didn't get to the tequila bar
3) I can't help the others.
4) But, I have a solution to you problem.
5) They make a "camel" water bag
. . . worn like a backpack
. . . has a straw that goes to your mouth
. . . holds up to 2-gallons of liquid
. . . can keep it cool
6) Now, just carry a handful of salt and a lime, and you got it made.

Oh well I'll just have to keep up my liquid diet of saki until it opens I guess lol.

 What a terrific idea with the "camel" backpack. :thumbsup2
