If we wanted to eat off of the lunch menu, how late do "lunches" tend to run? Specifically I'm looking at World Showcase Restaurants....

TIA!

I know at Crystal Palace it was 4:00 for dinner and I've read posts where people have eaten dinner at LeCellier starting at 4. Not sure if this is a magic # for all restaurants or not.:confused3 (Those that are open straight for both that is.)

This has been our strategy on every trip with the kids- big, late lunch. I know in the past we've scheduled most between 3-4, but the time varied for the change over at each place.

If you call the Disney restaurant line, they'll tell you the latest seating they have available for a particular restaurant.

I think they generally stop lunch around 3 or 4 and begin dinner shortly thereafter.

Now heres my question. Say you go to a TS place and they serve lunch until 4pm, and dinner starts at 4pm. And say your ADR is for 3:45pm but you dont get seated until 4:10pm. Do you order off the lunch or dinner menu? 50's Prime Time is a perfect example. They serve lunch until 4pm, and their dinner starts at 4pm.

That doesn't happen. There's a little break between the lunch seatings and the dinner seatings.

But even if it did happen, if you booked a lunch, you'd pay for lunch because it wasn't your fault they screwed up. Disney is good about that kind of stuff.

Now if you have pneumonia and would like to check out 4 or 5 hours late, you're still paying for an entire extra night. It isn't their fault that you got pneumonia.

I don't know if there is a set time for all of the restaurants but I just made my ADRs the other day and simply asked what the latest available time for a lunch seating would be for a couple of my choices and I took those options.

If you are "on the bubble" between lunch and dinner, they will ask which menu you would like. If you booked the lunch, you get the lunch menu. However - check your bill. We were once charged the dinner prices because we "were seated in the dinner area". Not sure if that was valid but we had to argue and we've never been back to that particular restaurant (in fact, it's not even in existence anymore).
