any one know when Soap weekend is this year? I haven't been able to find it and for us this is a not a weekend we care to be there for

I just did a Yahoo search and came up with November 13 -14 for the 9th Annual ABC Super Soap Weekend at MGM studios.

what do these events mean? I will be there during this Jersey Week thing. What is it and will our lines be longer because of it?

Jersey Week is a big week for people from NJ to go to WDW and Soap Weekend can bring in Soap opera crowds.

I'm going for part of Jersey week but I'm not worried.

I've read that its not really that bad. I don't know anything about the Soap weekend crowds though.

I've been during Jersey week twice..it isnt bad at all..just avoid the emh park.

Really Cat? EMH is busy? Wow! We are normally early risers, and I like to get going early. That is interesting......

if you go at park opening <emh> you will get quite the head start..but i really recommend leaving said park in the early afternoon < esp mk>..we never got up that early...we probably hit the parks around 10:30 and didnt wait more than 10 or 20 minutes for anything < except maybe the mountains>

We went last year during Jersey Week and compared to the spring when we usually go we noticed how great it was! We used Early Morning Hour every day and just made a point of leaving the park by about 10:30 or 11:00. We will be there again this year about the same time and can't wait to enjoy it again!
