When is Fall Break in your area?

What week does the school in your area have Fall Break?

Ours is the week of Oct. 15th - located in London, KY.

Here on the NW Side of Indianapolis, it is only 2 days for us.....Oct 25th & 26th.

We don't get a fall break. A couple of years ago, we did get a full week for Thanksgiving, but that was a freak of teacher contract talks, lol... Now we just get a 5-day weekend, if you can call it such a thing. (Thurs. - Mon.)

They changed our fall break starting this year. Its the week of Thanksgiving. It used to be the week of Halloween

Here in England and Wales most kids are off the last full week of October ie 22nd to 26th. I have a feeling kids in Scotland get two weeks ranging from late September to late October depending on the area the school is in.

Here in our part of Maryland the kids get about 3 or 4 days off the first week in Nov. Sorry I don't have exact dates right now.

October 17-19, so we are taking dd out for the week since she is only missing 2 days then. When we went in December she missed the week, was in school for 3 days and then Christmas break started.

One school system in our area is out October 4-5 and 8-12, and the other system is out October 8-12 and October 15.

Fall break??

Here (in NW IL) we get a 5 day weekend over Columbus Day....the Thursday/Friday before and then sat sun thru Monday. I don't think it jives with your pole dates, though.

I'm a teacher here in Central New York-no fall break other than the one day off for Columbus Day and one day off for Veteran's Day.

I never even knew that a Fall Break existed anywhere-other than NYC area with the Jewish Holidays. That would be so awesome if we had a fall break. We must go back to school a bit later or something than the schools that have a Fall Break. We usually start 2 days after Labor Day.
