I'm trying to decide on my HHN plans and I've gotten it down to this:

Fri., 10/1: Howl-O-Scream
Sat., 10/2: HHN
Sun, 1/03: Sleep in! :)

Or...

Thurs., 10/28: Howl-O-Scream
Fri., 10/29: HHN
Sat., 10/30: Sea World's Spooktacular
Sun., 10/31: Sleep in! :)

I'll probably do a VIP tour for HOS and HHN. I've booked the Portifino those dates. The Portifino was only available at an AP rate on 10/2-10/3 and the PBH was the cheapest on 10/29-10/31. RPH and HRH were much higher, believe it or not, but you were getting a club room though.

So if anyone will be in town for those dates, who would be interested? Is anyone doing the VIP tour? If so, I can give you the name of a special VIP tour guide so we can be in the same group. :)

Thanks!

i get into town with my wife late afternoon/early evening on the 30th. so we're going to the 31st HHN. bought the stay n screams and the express pass plus passes too. pondered the vip tour but couldnt justify the extra spend :( heck its taken us since march to be able to afford a honeymoon.... stupid government and visa.... (wifes american, from MN. came to live with me in england. long story short it took alotta cash spent on the "correct" visas and a wedding to sort it all out. sure we can go to war with you but we cant let em in the country... anyway rant off sorry.)

lol sorry about that umm where was i. oh yea hhn 31st. our first day of our honeymoon LOL wonder if this sets a tone for the marrage :p

being as we dont get in to the 30th i guess we probably wont see you but if anyone else is about for the 31st say so. im relativly new here but its always nice to say hi to people who have provided such great advice.

We are going 10/28 and 10/31. We have Frequent Fear tickets and express passes for 10/28, and figured we'd wing it on the 31st, unless something came up. We are staying at the RPR.

We can't wait!

I'm going to HHN on the 24th , 28th & 31st and going to Mickeys not so scarey on the 29th. maybe SeaWorlds on the 30th? Linda

We're going to HHN on 10/29 & 10/30. We're going to MNSSHP on 10/31. We're staying at the RPR. I can hardy wait!! We have Express tickets for 10/29 & 10/30.

The tour lasts 5 hours (from 7 pm to around midnight) and costs $120 per person. HHN admission is not included. Yes, it is pricey, but you get true front of the line access (no waiting in the Express line -- you go straight to the front) and you get treated like royality. I took the tour a few years ago and it was well worth the $.

I asked for 10/28-10/29 off from work, so we will have meets then. We might have a day meet. Stay tuned...

dang now you've got me wishing i could do the VIP tour heh.

ah well express lines wont be to bad they only sell a limited number of plus passes anyway.

Our first time on the 10th- can't wait. Mickey's party on the 12th.

My dates are still open. I know I'm going. (I'm going to be at Universal for 3 weekends in a row), but I'm not sure which one I'm going to be going to the HHN yet.

I want to go on Sunday the 10th. I haven't gotten my tkts yet... was waiting for the FL resident codes on the Burger King cups & coke cans to come out. They were due out on the 4th but witht this storm, I haven't had the chance to get any... and my daughter works at Burger King...

Sharon, are you an APH? I think the AP discount is better than the FL ressie/Coke can discount? When I bought one night HHN tickets for our friends, I think they were $32.75 and that included tax.

Hi Jodi...yes I am an AP holder. I thought that the CM I spoke to on the phone a few weeks ago said that the FL res would be better. Maybe what she meant was better than regular price???? I have to double check now... thanks for the info.:umbrella:

I just went onto the Universal Web site & cannot find any info on the prices other than the regular price & frequent fear price... I don't want to call them today (they must be busy with calls & this isn't important at this time, I can wait for my info) If anyone has the prices out there please let me know. I did have them written somewhere & now can't find them...

Hey.. Jodi... found my little piece of paper with my prices. You are correct. AP is $32.75 with tax & FL Res is $37.01. Guess I don't need to wait for my UPC code. Thanks... by the way, anyone know what the Entertainment Card rate is for the RPR in Oct??? I do know that AP rate is less than FL Res rate, but wondering about Ent Rate. Also see that the RPR is sold out for the weekend of 10/8. May consider going following weekend if I can get a good rate on RPR. If not, I may just use Priceline & go on for the 10/8 weekend.

I'm doing a HHN VIP tour on October 21st::yes::

I've requested a very special tour guide:hyper:

We are going on October 2nd. Does anyone know what the crowd levels might be like for the first weekend. Everywhere I look it seems everyone is going later in the month. thanks for your input

betty

Hi Sharon! I just called the AP Hotline and ordered my HHN tickets over the phone, and they shipped them to me for free. :)

Not sure about the ET rate. I booked at the AP rate because at least the AP rate doesn't go up on weekends like the ET rate does this year.

It does seem like everyone is going towards the end of the month, but I think we have some board members who have ants in the pants, and can't wait that long!
