When is everyone going to Disneyland Paris 2024

Went in September. Will likely be back for a day in Feb. check out the Musee Jacquemart-Andres. It is the townhouse/museum of a wealthy childless couple who collected art.
Thank you! I keep promising my husband we'll go to Paris for a week so he can spend every day in the Louvre. We've been a couple times, but when I tell you he reads every single sign in front of every work of art, I mean every single one, LOL. All in all, he's probably only seen a small percentage of it so far (fortunately, we currently live in Europe and are now empty nesters, so it should be easier to make more trips). **Checking out the pics for the Musee Jacquemart-Andres and it looks WONDERFUL!

We will be there July 1-3, staying at Sequoia Lodge. Cannot wait!
How was your stay? We’ll be headed to DLP for 3 days in early May and looking at the Disney Hotel options. This one seemed mid-priced relatively speaking.

For others who tried the other Disney options like Newport that looks further away, did it take much longer to get into the parks?

I’ve read any hotel specials that could be offered are typically 90 days out, guess I’ll reprice then. Any advice/tips from your stays will be appreciated.

Newport Bay is slightly closer than Sequoia. You do not have to go around the lake it has its own security.

For security NPB is preferable. It has one security entrance for one hotel. The other four hotels have two security entrances. So my educatedguess is, NPB has a shorter walk and security check to get into the park.

There is a sticky with first timer tips, do you want to know anything in particular?

Tips like this regarding the Disney hotels, quicker park access without too many shuttle/bus stops very helpful. Thank you. Also if any experiences using private travel from Paris to Disney vs going to CDG to get the TGV train. We’d travel either evening of 1st or early am on 2nd to Disney. If leaving eve of 1st would want to take latest train which looks like is 8:30 pm meaning Paris sightseeing has to end 6:30 ish to get luggage and transport to CDG. If we need a taxi to CDG maybe that plus TGV cost getting close to just doing taxi/uber direct from hotel so we could run a little later in Paris. I missed the sticky, in this forum?

If you are staying at a DLP hotel, there will be no stops between hotel and park. Each hotel has its own bus.

But unless you are really really tired (or have small kids, people with mobility issues) walking will most likely be the quickest way to get to/from the park. A normal abled healthy adult will take about 10-12 minutes to walk to Sequoia or NPB.

The sticky with first timer tips was just under this thread 😉 in here are also some names of companies for private transport. https://www.disboards.com/threads/karin’s-disneyland-paris-first-timer-tips-2024.3950886/

However, you do not have to go back to the airport to take the TGV to Disneyland Paris. There is the subway (RER). Depending on where you stay in the city, it is 45-60 minutes, and might involve 1 transfer.

You said going early May, keep in mind that the 1st of May is a bank holiday in several European countries, including France. And 1 region in France will have a school holiday till the 4th.
