When is best for DC

Is one day of the week better than another to go to Discovery Cove? Is one month better than another? We are looking at being in Orlando October 20-30th. Is this a time that fills to capacity or am I able to wait to see the weather report and book just a few days or a week in advance? Thanks for all your help. I don't care to travel, but the kids claim they are the only kids in their school that haven't been to Disney World yet, so I've just got to take them.

October can be iffy because of weather. It can be warm and or cold. Usually is pretty nice during the day. If there is a storm coming through it can be rainy. We've been there and it's rained almost everyday and I've been there and seen no rain at all. Discovery Cove will give you wet suits if your cold and they won't close unless it is lightening. So, if this is when you can go, go!
