When is 1st meal upon boarding Majic

I was thinking of taking the family out to lunch then boarding the Majic later in the afternoon but I was wondering what time the 1st meal is on the ship.
The last cruise I took B.K. [before kids] the 1st meal was dinner.
Would rather eat on the ship and save $40.00

Lunch is available at Parrot Cay and Topsiders as soon as you board. We had the buffet at Topsiders after we signed up for Palo's and the kid's club.

Lunch is available either at Topsiders (buffet) or Parrot Cay (restaurant) essentially as soon as you board. The food is the same either place, and is a good selection. By all means, plan to eat after you board and save the $. The only question is whether you want to make reservations before or after you eat. You can do all the stuff like register the kids after. Palo and spa reservations, you might want to do before.

There is food everywhere as soon as you get on! And they let us board early (by noon) on our recent 11/29/03 Eastern, so there is plenty of time to eat....
