If I have a PIN? Or will they tell me if it's there? I'm kind of embarrassed to ask :rolleyes1

I'm not sure what the official policy is, but it probably depends on the CM. I've had some offer to check, and I've sometimes had to ask.

Don't be embarrassed to ask! My first trip I didn't even know PIN codes existed, and I paid a lot more for the trip than I might have needed to. Be glad you are one of the enlightened ones that knows about them!

You should ask. Disney is usually not very forthcoming with discounts unless you ask; you can't assume that the cast member you get will volunteer the information.

Ok I'll ask next time I call - its more embarrassing to pay more than I need to!

:rolleyes1 Don't be embarressed to ask! This last time, I told her I was interested in finding out prices and availability. She said there was the 'spring' deal, and then I said "Well, I know sometimes they send ppl discounts, because I missed one last fall due to the dates. Is there any discount still by my name? She said "Oh, let me look"....And VOILA! There was!
I always tell my kids..."The worse thing you'll hear is maybe a No. At least you asked!":goodvibes

I've tried to figure this out on my own, but I'm not getting anywhere....what is a PIN? And how do you get one? I have pretty much figured out all the acronyms for DCL, just need to learn them for the Parks! Thanks!!

PIN stands for "personal identification number." They are offers that don't always come with a number, but are available only to those who actually receive them, and not to the general public.

So I called tonight, and asked about getting a fridge in our room because we'll have a 3 month old baby... He just said yes we can add it when we get there for $10/day :sad2:
Then I asked if there were any discounts available so we could upgrade our resort and he just told me to bookmark disneyworld.com and check back in a month or so. :sad2: :sad2:

I'm too chicken to just say "do I have a PIN?" :headache:

I'm right there with you on being too embarrassed!

When I called last week, the gal I spoke with told me to check back in a few weeks when the fall deals should be released. It didn't seem like she checked for a PIN or anything.

Does anyone know if they keep track of how often you call? I don't want them to flag me as a stalker or something if I call once a week. haha

At least now I know to specifically say "Do I have a PIN"
