We will be at WDW on March 1-15th. I was just wondering if we will be missing the spring break crowd.

It has been 15 years since my last trip and this is my DD and DH first time. I'm hoping the crowds are pretty moderate or slow so we can take our time.

Please let me kwow if we've avoided the mad rush...

I posted this same thread a couple of weeks ago, and was surprised to find out that spring break can be anywhere between mid February - Late April. (depending on the state & school district) I'm a teacher in California and our spring break is April 21 - 26th, and am planning to spend that time at WDW. Hopefully not too many other schools will be out that week!

I live in North Florida and our spring break is March 17th-21st, and we also plan to be at wdw for this time. I hope it isnt very very busy:rolleyes: you just never really know til you get there. There is the known fact that spring break is busy busy, but we have alot of other things going on in the world that just might hinder the crowds...you just dont know....

Im in Northern Michigan and our spring break here is March 28 - April 8.

In South Florida, Miami-Dade county is also March 28-April 6, hope this helps.

I'm in San Antonio, Tx and our Spring Break is March 17-21. But that is only one district here in town not to mention the colleges. They are usually a week before or after ours. Anyway, with Easter being April 20th this year, I think that will be the busiest time at WDW. Hope this helps.

I live in Westchester County, N.Y. and our Spring Break is APril 14th through April 18th

According to Disney, "Spring Break" starts Feb 14 to May 1, which is when the resorts charge the higher seasonal rate.

We always try for early February or mid May to avoid the crowds and the higher rates.

I live in Denton, TX (north of Dallas). Our spring break is March 17-21. We too will be at WDW then! Have fun all.

Just had to say "Hi". This is the first time I've noticed anyone on the boards from Denton. Next time you go to Beth Marie's, have some ice cream for me. DS goes to UNT and took me there over parents weekend. Delicious!

In Massachusetts, college spring break starts March 17, but the high schools winter break starts on Presidents Day and spring break starts April 21.

We have gone to Disney in March 3 times in the past four years. The first and second weeks were not all that crowded. Never a line more than 30 minutes (except for a VERY stupid line to see Mickey that took more than an hour to get through with an infant and a 5 year old who was DYING to see the mouse...but don't get me started......I know, I know, poor planning on my part, like I said, don't get me started.....) Well, I shouldn't say ther was never a line longer than 30 minutes, but rather, we never waited in a line longer than 30 minutes but we still saw everything we wanted to see! You just have to pass up some rides until the lines die down...or use Fast Pass and you'll be fine!

I'm glad to hear that the first two weeks are not that bad. I want to take my time to see it all and will surely use Fastpass.

Thanks so much to all who responded. I'm counting down the days to see Mickey.

Can't wait to see my little girl's eyes light up for joy...

In the midst of that March-April spring break madness, I hope we picked the SLOW week! LOL

We'll be going April 8-15...coming home JUST before Easter hits.

Wish us luck. I'm gonna hide in my room if the crowds are tremendous! ;)

Here in Rochester MN, it is March 28-April 6.

Seems like a popular week for it. :(

Our Break is March 10-14. Many many seem to have that week here in the south. But we will be there....doing Spring TRaining and some Disney.

I go to the University of Kansas and our spring break doesn't start until March 17th.

Hi all,

FYI: University of Florida break is March 8-15. I know because when I made my ressies (AKL 3/11-17) the CM made a point of saying "oh no, that's OUR spring break". I sure would not have picked such a wholesome place as WDW for my spring break, but I guess times have changed. Also, FYI, we will be there then because that's when UMaine has it's spring break (3/8-23)
