I know that you need to pay for one if you use an outside photographer/videopgrapher, but I am trying to figure out how many hours. The wedding starts at 2:30pm though getting ready pictures, etc will start at 12:30pm. Do I need a media guide for:

Getting Ready Photos?
Ceremony?

I know that I need one for the reception(3:30-8:30)

Thanks!

The media guide is for any time non-Disney photographers or videographers go into the parks. They are not needed for hotel or outside park locations. You need to pay for one media guide PER PERSON, not per vendor. The guide fee is good for 4 hours, after that I believe you have to pay additional.

For example, our ceremony is in Italy so per our BEO we have 4 guides from 7:30am-9:00am (when the ceremony starts). Because both of photographer and videographer vendors are husband & wife teams, we need 4 media guides (or need to pay for them at least......we'll see if 4 CMs are actually there) The van picking us up to head to the pre-reception isn't coming until 10:15, so I'm assuming they'll also hang around with us as we take some post-ceremony photos.

Our reception is in Atlantic Dance Hall so we have no media guides :)
