When Elizabeth became Queen

I'm watching a touching documentary about Queen Elizabeth's rise to power. Her Majesty narrates it and it is so fundamentally humanising, touching and sweet. It covers her early years as a toddler to a young woman, from "Lilly-bet" to Her Royal Highness. Quite simply, her sole desire in life is to rule in fairness, to provide a rock for her realm, to serve in a spiritual manner, be that under God or some other power.

"I give you my heart".

It's quite beautiful.

My mother made a scrapbook of the Princess becoming Queen,
and subsequent years.
Sadly, she lost it a while ago - I would have loved to look through it with her.
I pray for your queen regularly, she has been an incredible woman
throughout these many decade .
