When during your stay would you prefer club level?

I always prefer to "upgrade" my trip at the end, no matter if it be the resort or the size accommodations, or in the case Club Level, always better to "move up" than to go backwards.

I didn't end up booking them. To make a very long story short, it would have required too much moving which didn't outweigh the CL benefits. Thanks for asking.

The water in the lounge is not in pitchers....they're 1-liter glass bottles of Evian. Filling your water bottle from a pitcher would be very tacky. Filling it by pouring the bottle of evian into your water bottle would be beyond tacky!!! Years ago they did provide individual bottles of water to guests, but so many guests were wanting to "stock up" for a day in the parks they discontinued that. It was intended for consumption in the lounge or in your room...but people abused it so it ended.

Cash guests pay a huge premium for concierge. We as dvc pay a pittance (the # of extra points is minimal). The stuff in the lounge is meant to be incidental, for our enjoyment in the lounge (but yes, you can bring stuff back to your room). It's not meant to provide 100% of the food & drink you and your family needs for the whole trip though.

I have to respectfully disagree on this. When I stayed CL at CR last year, the CMs reminded us to fill our water bottles before we headed out to the parks. So no, it's not tacky and people shouldn't be made to feel bad for doing it. You pay for the water either through the cash to upgrade to CL or through the extra points, so what does it matter if you drink it in your room or at the parks?
