When does Typhoon Lagoon re-open?

We are hoping Typhoon Lagoon will be open when we are there in mid-March. As of now wdwinfo says it reopens on March 12 but the official WDW site says it doesn't re-open until March 19. Any idea on which one would be most accurate? TIA!

It was originally closed through March 12, but just this week I noticed it was changed to March 19 on MDE.

Touring plans says 3/20. For now, I'd go by what the official Disney site says and anticipate a 3/19 or maybe 3/20 opening

So sad that we are going to miss it this year! With only Blizzard Beach available and no Disney Quest, do you think it's worth it to upgrade to WP&M? We already have hoppers and are staying at Yacht Club.

Yes, it's open but visits are not included in the WP&M tickets. My boys LOVE Disney Quest so will be thrilled to have one last visit there.

We were very disappointed to learn that Typhoon Lagoon would be closed for our whole visit - we will be there from March 12-18 and until last week it was supposed to be open all bu t the first day. We have already purchased the Water Park and More option on our tickets. It was disappointing not to have Disney Quest included anymore, but now that we won't have access to our favourite of the two water parks - and are expecting the other water park will be much busier as a result of the closure - I feel like the value of this option is significantly reduced.

What are the chances of the refurb ending early? Does that ever happen? That week is March break for a lot of Canadians and the crowds are predicted to be fairly heavy.

We feel the same way. That week is also spring break for a lot of Texas. I'm guessing something put a kink in the rehab. I'll be watching that week to see if it opens earlier, but I'm not counting on it. We have been there in years past when TL was closed and BB didn't seem too crowded.
