When does the pirates rehab end at wdw?

Hi all,
I was reading something in a book a bought,its about wdw in fla.Anyway they said that pairates in fla is closed for the addition of capt jack sparrow and says it will reopen on a certain date.Does anyone know for sure when pirates is supposed to reopen,cause the books either wrong or thier right and i'm really upset cause this means i will miss it when i visit in the last week of sept.I'm almost sure the book had a typo,i really hope.So anyone know when it will or they say it will reopen,give or take everything stays on time with the refurb?

I thought it re-opens July 9th (ish). Now, that could be the Disneyland date...I'll try and find where I read it (something I got in the mail from Disney) and will post it....in the meantime, there may be someone else who knows for sure.

nope,i thought the same thing too.however this thing i been reading says,are you ready for this some time in the winter YES winter 2006,that to me means nov/dec not july.I remember reading in several places that july was the reopen date,just wanted to make sure i was not the only one who read this reopens in july.I'm sure this was a mistake and it is supposed to reopen in july given they complete everything on time,i hope.

July 9 is the correct date. The book is wrong. I believe that Disneylands is earlier than WDW but not by much.

I just read on the Disney World website that POTC is due to re-open on July 7th. I had heard previously that it was July 1 - which was great for me since July 1 our last day at WDW > so sad that we are going to miss POTC this trip

The WDW calender now shows Pirates open on July 1st....

I hope that's true, 'cause July 5 is our last day at WDW this trip and if they stuck to the old scheduled re-opening date of July 7 (the same day the film opens, I believe), we would have missed it. Anyone know for sure?

The cast information has just been updated to July 1. I wouldn't expect it any earlier than that, but I would not be surprised to see it as late as the 7th. It will be open by the 7th at the latest as that is when the movie premiere is, but as of right now it is scheduled to be re-open on July 1st
