I'm confused; as usual. This quote is from my tavel agent:

"DisneyWorld package, April 5th until April 10th, 5 nights, Disney Pop
> Century hotel, 6 day magic your way hopper passes, plus dinning (regular),
> and insurance. This is for 5 people, 2 adults, 3 children, ages 11, 7 and
> 1 year."

My question is: (well it's in the heading) but, is the DDP for 5 or 6 days? (I'm thinking 5.) And...does it start on the 5th & end on the 9th or start on the 6th & end on the 10th (5 days) OR is it from the 5th-10th (6 days)?? Am I making sense?
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Your dining is equal to the amount of nights you stay. So 5 nights you will receive 5 days of dining. You will be able to start using your dining starting April 5th the day you check in and you have until April 10th midnight I believe to use all your credits.

With regular dining you will receive one table service credit, one counter service credit and one snack credit per day per person. You can use your credits as you like , if you want to use two counter services one day and two table services another day that's fine.

I hope this helps. :)

Credits are recieved per night. So yes, you'll base your decisions on 5 TS Credits, 5 CS Credits, and 5 Snack Credits (Per guest).

Your plan will start the moment you check in and the credits do not expire until midnight the day that you check out. (Begin April 5th and expire at midnight on April 10th in your case)

But, let's say we arrived on the 10th at midnight, We departed at 7:00 AM on the 16th. Even though we would be spending the night on the 10th, we wouldn't be going to the parks or eating that day...Can we just have it for five nights? The same if we chose the whole package...with the parks included....Pay six nights for the room...and five days for the parks and Dinning plan? :confused3

Nope. Dining plans are per night tied to hotel stay, not park tickets -you can easily make this work by treating yourselves to a 2TS dinner one night and grabbing a to-go CS breakfast on departure day.

"Per guest" also the Child that is 1 years old will not be on the dinning plan will eat at buffet style and family style resturnats fine, and at regular TS resturants off your plate for free if you want to order that child a meal you will have to pay for it same goes with CS meals too!!! Just wanted to point that out...

You have to have equal nights of stay and days on the dining plan. If that makes sense. ;) So if they are charging you for 6 nights ( check-in the 10th and out the 16th) you will receive 6 days of the dining plan. As far as I know the dining plan always has to be for the amount of nights ( not days ) you are staying. The good thing is that even though you aren't in the parks the 10th you can still use those credits on another day.

If you have the standard/basic dining plan then you will receive:

6 counter service meals x 6 nights = 36
6 table service meals x 6 nights = 36
6 snack credits x 6 nights= 36

per person per day. You can use these however you choose during your stay. If you find you have too many table service credits because of not being there the 10th you can try a signature dining experience which requires 2 table service credits. :)

If you really don't want the dining and park tickets but for 5 days of your stay you could make a separate room only reservation for the first night and then book the remaining 5 days together as a package with tickets and dining.

I hope this makes so sense and helps. :)

Yes..It's starting to make sense...I just let my annual pass expire..Once a year, I take my kids and grandchildren to Disney (this past February to Universal) as their birthday, Christmas...gifts. We live in Michigan and frankly, our economy is as about as bad as it can get. I normally would pay for everything...and I can't do it any more...So..I thought I would look into the costs of booking the rooms combined with the dinning plan...My adult children would have to pay for everything themselves and their children...and I would pay for tips and other incidentals...maybe some spending money.

Before...when I used my annual pass benefits, I could book three rooms with my discount..(if it applied at the time we were going)..The rooms were also the same price each day...starting with the first day...I also purchased the dinning discount card, which gave me 20% off our meals....Now, except for the 20% off dining card...those benefits no longer apply with the Annual Pass...

We always booked a "sit down meal" each day...(which I paid for) and counter lunches...My grandchildren will be 15,12,11,9, and 1 next year when we go again..(Usually in February) I'm trying to figure out which would be the best way to go...so I can "present" it to everybody...We always ate our breakfasts in our room...(food we picked up at the store on the way)

Any advice you could give would be appreciated....It seems strange not to have an Annual Pass...:sad2:
