When does school start back where you live??

My family's not out of school yet
My mom is a teacher and will get out next Monday. She goes back August 28. My sister finishes finals this Thursday, and will go back September 6. My stepsister finishes (and graduates) 8th grade tomorrow, has freshman orientation August 29, and will start high school with my sister on September 6.
And I go back to college August 27. Cant come fast enough

Kiddos here go back August 14th. Seems so early. I know the summer will just fly by. It always does!!

We moved our trip back two and a half weeks this year, and I was really worried that we would encounter large crowds trying to get a trip in right before school started. I wasn't sure when children in the NE went back to school. I knew it was later than in the South because some schools up north don't have AC.

Happy BTS, everyone! I remember how excited I used to be. Summer was fun, but I always missed my friends.

I go back unofficially on Aug. 14 officially the 16th. The kids go back the following Wed. 23rd.

They were talking about not starting until September but nothing came about of that.

With free dining I'm not so sure the crowds will be low. I'm many families that start school at Labor Day will head down toward the end of August to take advantage of value rates and free dining.

On the other hand, families from the south may head down mid-late September for the same reasons. Their kids would have been in school long enough to have adjusted to the new routines. (Maybe 4-6 weeks?) By pulling kids out during that period they get a visit during value season and get in on free dining.

DS is not out of school yet, last day is tomorrow, June 21. Goes back to school Aug. 31.

Sept 5th. Michigan now wants schools to start after Labor Day, otherwise our school always started a week to almost 2 weeks before.

Almost all NC public schools will start back on August 25th (which is a Friday) , due to a state law requiring school to start no earlier than 8/25 and end no later than 6/15.

I officially go back on August 8th, but I am currently working every T/TH morning that I'm in town on getting my new room together. I got the furniture placement last week. I unpacked 5 boxes today!

I have a class on Aug. 1st and my team wants to meet Aug. 7th to go over all the new programs for this year.

My students come on Aug. 15th.

My son's school starts Aug. 21st.
